Guardian Glass is looking for a Demand Planning Leader in Auburn Hills, MI!

In this position, you will partner closely with business leadership to translate market insights into a forward-looking, data-driven demand plan that enables profitable growth and operational alignment. This is an opportunity to influence strategy, challenge the status quo, and drive meaningful business outcomes through analytics and cross-functional collaboration.

As a key member of the organization, you will act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating the commercial vision into a credible demand plan aligned with Supply Chain and Operational priorities. The successful candidate will leverage data, market insights, and business acumen to turn analysis into action—supporting profitable growth while aligning teams around shared goals.

You will collaborate across commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to create alignment between demand, capacity, and execution—playing a central role in enabling data-driven decision-making and organizational success.

What You Will Do Demand Plan Ownership
  • Own and continuously refine the 12–18 month rolling forecast, maintaining a well-documented, assumptions-based plan that enables aligned decision‑making across the organization
  • Identify, communicate, and proactively manage risks and opportunities, partnering with commercial leaders on scenario planning to reflect evolving market conditions
  • Challenge demand assumptions using market trends, execution insights, and share-of-wallet analysis
Commercial Vision & Profitable Growth
  • Translate business strategy into actionable demand assumptions and opportunity pipelines, promoting value-driven decisions that optimize profitability
  • Support execution of new business and key account strategies while identifying and unlocking unconstrained market opportunities through data‑driven analysis
Execution & Planning Alignment
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to align demand with capacity, proactively identifying demand shifts and supporting prioritization and allocation decisions
  • Deliver analytics to highlight gaps between plan and execution and drive corrective actions
  • Lead demand planning discussions within S&OP, clearly communicating risks, trade‑offs, and recommended actions to enable agile decision‑making
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while building organizational capability and fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and performance excellence
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience developing and managing demand forecasts in a complex, cross‑functional environment
  • Experience using data and analytics to influence business decisions and drive outcomes
  • Experience leading or developing others, either directly or through project leadership
  • Previous experience communicating insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
