Job Title: CQV Engineer – Assembly & Packaging
Location: North Carolina (On-site)

Job Summary:
Seeking a CQV Engineer with pharma/biotech experience to support commissioning, qualification, and validation of assembly and packaging equipment. Must ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and quality standards while supporting startup and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform IQ/OQ/PQ for assembly and packaging equipment
  • Develop and execute validation protocols, test scripts, and reports
  • Support FAT/SAT activities and startup readiness
  • Qualify filling, capping, labeling, cartoning, blistering, serialization systems
  • Prepare/review URS, FS/DS, FMEA, commissioning and validation documents
  • Support deviations, CAPA, and change controls
  • Work with Engineering, QA, Automation, and Manufacturing teams
  • Track project milestones and timelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3–8+ years of CQV experience in pharma, biotech, medical device industries
  • Strong experience with packaging/assembly equipment qualification
  • Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, ASTM E2500, ISPE guidelines
  • Experience with risk-based validation approaches
  • DeltaV / PLC / SCADA knowledge preferred

Preferred

  • Experience with serialization/aggregation systems
  • OSD or sterile packaging experience
  • Exposure to digital/paperless validation tools
