Job Summary

DELTA team members at Logistics Plus (LP) wear many hats. We are fixers, problem solvers, Swiss Army Knives. We are the group that takes on opportunities that fall outside of the box.

In addition to solving problems in a practical sense, the DELTA team is an incubator for new LP team members. We skill employees up while identifying their strengths and passions, with the goal of moving them to a new department when an opportunity arises.

A new hires role on the DELTA team is to learn, grow, and help in any way possible across all departments. You will be exposed to a broad spectrum of LPs capabilities in a short amount of time. As you get your bearings, you will have the opportunity to work on specific projects with deliverables such as developing new workflows and processes, managing projects, and assisting other teams. You will be challenged to develop your leadership muscles as you define problems, coordinate with various stakeholders, and share knowledge with internal and external partners. Above all be a helpful team player and work to connect the dots.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Data collection
  • Relationship building, including coworkers, clients, and vendors
  • Develop high-level and granular knowledge of the organization
  • Leverage relationships and accumulated knowledge to formulate solutions to complex problems
  • Constantly work to identify new opportunities for the team/organization
  • Process map and instructional document creation
  • Monitor and control processes post-solution deployment

Required Skills/Abilities

  • The ability to be humble we dont assume to be experts with any new opportunity instead we make all attempts to capture information by listening to other stakeholders
  • Strong team orientation with the ability to communicate across departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with any other software systems is a plus
