Job description

Delta by Marriott Utica is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Night Auditor front desk associate to join our team in Utica, NY. 

This role combines guest service with accounting responsibilities to ensure a smooth and accurate close to each day. If you have excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences, we invite you to apply.

This position is combination overnight front desk agent two nights per week, and serving as the backup / overnight security on the other two-three nights per week.  

Responsibilities
  • Two nights per week would serve as the primary overnight desk agent.
  • Perform night audit procedures including balancing accounts and preparing daily reports.
  • Night Audit desk shift is 11:00pm - 7:00am
  • Check guests in and out in a friendly and efficient manner during overnight hours.
  • Handle guest requests and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of transactions, reservations, and billing adjustments.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Assist with any other front desk duties as assigned by management.

Two-Three nights per week can serve as the property security. 
Back up the main desk agent those nights, help with guest requests, deliveries
Perform several property walks to check that doors are locked. 
Call managers in case of emergency or law enforcement if necessary.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit roles preferred.
  • Strong numerical and computer skills, proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
