What you will have an opportunity to do:
BASIC FUNCTION: The Server will work in our full service a la carte restaurants. Our full service restaurants include an Italian restaurant and Latin Steakhouse. This position is responsible for providing prompt, courteous service for the guest, and will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant front of house. It is important to know that we are tip-free environment so this position is paid a base hourly rate, no tips will be received.
  • Status: Part-Time
  • Availability: 2nd shift
  • Payrate: $20.00 per hour flat rate - no tips
  • Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Interact with guests to take drink and food orders.
  • Assist guests with menu knowledge in making selections.
  • Ensure the restaurant dining space is organized, set to standard, and upkept throughout the course of service with acute attention to detail.
  • Perform side work such as polishing silverware, rolling silver, cleaning side stations, vacuuming, and more.
  • Enter orders on a point of sale system, present checks to guest, and take payment.
  • Intuitively anticipate guest needs, manage multiple tables effectively, and prioritize safety regarding food allergies.
  • Clear and reset a section quickly during peak dining hours to maximize table turnover.
  • Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

What are we looking for?
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Friendly and outgoing personality. Likes to smile and talk to people.
  • Full Service or a la carte serving experience highly preferred.
  • Beverage knowledge desirable.
  • Experience working on a F&B Point of Sale system desirable.
  • Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed.
