Our Deloitte Regulatory, Risk & Forensic team helps client leaders translate multifaceted risk and an evolving regulatory environment into defensible actions that strengthen, protect, and transform their organization. Work You'll Do
As a Senior Consultant, Regulatory, Risk, and Compliance, you will support a loan platform modernization effort for federal lending programs across multiple mission areas.
  • Translate federal lending regulations, policies, and institutional knowledge into platform-ready specifications and actionable requirements for the product team.
  • Analyze current-state client lending processes and identify where the platform requires configuration or extension to meet program-specific needs.
  • Support the decomposition of complex regulatory frameworks into business rules, decision logic, and workflow configurations.
  • Facilitate follow-up sessions with client program staff to resolve open requirements and clarify operational/regulatory nuances.
  • Track down and organize program artifacts (e.g., forms, SOPs, checklists, sample letters, and regulatory references) to support the product team.
  • Validate configured loan program functionality against regulatory and business requirements, with particular attention to compliance edge cases that require domain knowledge to identify.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role
  • 2+ years of experience supporting rural development lending programs
  • 4+ years of experience providing strategy, program management, or financial management support in a federal consulting environment
  • Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
  • Experience in loan servicing (e.g., routine servicing such as financial analyses and site visits; special servicing such as default, restructures, and bankruptcy, etc.)
  • Experience in business process reengineering or process improvement within federal agencies.
  • Experience with data automation, reporting, or analytics in a federal lending context.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Arlington, VA, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Arlington, VA and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.A reasonable estimate of the current range is$113,000 to $188,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
