Job description

The Innovation & Delivery Transformation team is building the future of our business. This is the group responsible for identifying, nurturing, scaling, and ultimately winning in new markets with new capabilities. We don't rely on what the firm has always done - we look to the future and invest where we know the growth will be 3, 5, 10 years down the road. The Innovation & Delivery Transformation Team collaborates with Industries, Offering Portfolios, Growth, and Delivery Transformation to curate and scale our Innovation Portfolio, grow through our Strategic Growth Offerings, identify and incubate the next generation of technology through our Technology Offices, and more. Together we are dedicated to fostering a top talent experience both within I&DT and throughout our firm by leading our Tech Talent Transformation.

Within IDT, our Life Sciences Cloud (LSC) practice is launching a Managed Platform as a Service (MPaaS) offering - a comprehensive solution that bundles our proprietary QuickStarts platform with ongoing managed services to deploy, run, maintain, and continuously evolve client CRM environments.

Unlike traditional project-based consulting, this offering is product- and operations-led: IDT owns the platform baseline, the delivery model, and the long-term client relationship. The Delivery Manager sits at the center of that mandate, managing a portfolio of biopharma client engagements, leading a team of direct reports, and serving as the primary authority for client governance, delivery oversight, and the ongoing evolution of client instances built on the QuickStarts baseline.

Recruiting for this role ends on 08/01/2026.

What You'll Do

Client Governance & Executive Relationship Management

  • Own delivery governance across a portfolio of active MPaaS client engagements, serving as the primary point of accountability for each
  • Lead executive-level client relationships, facilitating steering committee meetings, status reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Manage escalation pathways, proactively identifying risks and resolving delivery issues before they impact client outcomes
  • Define and report on SLAs, KPIs, and operational health metrics, ensuring transparency and trust with client stakeholders
  • Partner with Deloitte account leadership to support contract performance and client satisfaction within the managed service model

Delivery Oversight

  • Own end-to-end delivery accountability across the full MPaaS lifecycle: Deploy, Run, Maintain, and Evolve
  • Oversee team execution across all phases including environment setup, configuration, testing, UAT, cutover, hyper-care, and steady-state operations
  • Enforce the 90/10 delivery model - ensuring client instances remain aligned to the QuickStarts baseline while managing approved customizations within defined guardrails
  • Drive release planning and coordinate 3x annual value-driven platform releases, aligning client readiness with new agentic and AI capabilities
  • Maintain delivery rigor across risk registers, testing and validation approaches, integration execution, and documentation/training deliverables

Team Leadership

  • Directly manage and develop a team responsible for:
  • Setting up client environments and deploying the QuickStarts package
  • Tailoring configuration within the 90/10 delivery model
  • Supporting testing, UAT, cutover, and hyper-care activities
  • Running ongoing maintenance, releases, upgrades, and user support
  • Performing operational data loads and client-specific enhancements
  • Mentor team members and actively support their career growth within IDT and the broader LSC practice
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding as the MPaaS offering scales across new clients and geographies

Product Feedback & Platform Evolution

  • Serve as a direct input channel into the QuickStarts product roadmap, translating patterns and pain points observed across the client portfolio into actionable product feedback
  • Collaborate closely with the QuickStarts Product Lead to align platform capabilities with real-world delivery needs
  • Help shape delivery methodology, operational playbooks, and toolkits as the MPaaS offering matures

A strong successful candidate will possess these skills:

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Agentic AI, GenAI etc..and how delivery is evolving using these technologies
  • Experience operating within or delivering managed services or subscription-based delivery models
  • Working knowledge of the broader Life Sciences commercial technology ecosystem, including platforms such as Veeva Vault PromoMats, MuleSoft integration tooling, Cvent, Knipper, and other populate CRM integrations a plus
  • Domain experience in biopharma or medtech commercial operations; experience in clinical or patient-facing contexts is a plus
  • Experience contributing structured feedback to product or platform roadmaps based on delivery insights
  • Experience directly managing people, including performance development, coaching, and team building
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements or workstreams simultaneously

The Team
This role is aligned with our ConvergeHEALTH business, serving Deloitte's Life Sciences Sector by advancing research and development initiatives. ConvergeHEALTH is dedicated to creating digitally connected ecosystems through robust analytics platforms, immersive experiences, strategic industry partnerships, and premier consulting services, all with the unified vision of centering healthcare around patient needs.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • At least 3 years of experience leading client-facing delivery, including governance, executive relationship management, and escalation management
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Veeva CRM or equivalent Life Sciences commercial platforms (e.g., Salesforce Health Cloud, OCE), across personas such as Field Sales, Key Account Management, Medical Science Liaisons, or Field Reimbursement Management
  • Ability to travel 25%, based on work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
