Description

As an Executive Assistant, you are an integral participant of the Executive Leadership team. The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high-level administrative, organizational, and relational support to the Lead Pastor, ensuring effective calendar management, meeting coordination, communication, confidentiality, and support of church leadership rhythms and priorities.

Key Outcomes

The Executive Assistant, you help deliver against our mission of "Connecting People to Jesus and Each Other", as well as our three vision pillars to "Raise the Strongest Generation", "Maximize and Multiply Jesus Followers", and "Amplify Jesus Online and Globally". Specifically, this role contributes to that in the following ways.

  • Protects and optimizes the Lead Pastor's time and focus to support effective teaching, leadership, and pastoral care
  • Ensures strong communication, coordination, and follow-through across church leadership, Elder Board, and key stakeholders
  • Supports healthy ministry rhythms by aligning schedules, meetings, and priorities with the church calendar and vision
Key Responsibilities

The following duties, collaborations, and personal growth objectives are critical to the success of this role. As in all roles, other duties may be necessary to deliver upon the key outcomes the role is responsible for.

  • Serve as gatekeeper and organizational triage for inquiries and requests directed to the Lead Pastor
  • Work closely with other executives to complete tasks quickly
  • Provide meeting and administrative support including correspondence and expense reporting
  • Support Elder Board operations including agendas, minutes, and documentation
  • Coordinate logistics and hospitality for guest speakers
  • Able to translate vision into tangible action and deliver results
  • Supporting Lead Pastor across all professional endeavors
  • Flexible to the fluidity of Ministry

Where You’ll Be

Your role will include office environments, church service environments, and (likely) engaging with the congregation and community outside the walls of Connection Pointe. Physical demands mainly include walking, climbing stairs, sitting or standing for long periods of time and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
