Job Description
To provide care, preparation and positioning of patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images utilizing CT studies.

Education And Credentials
Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology or graduate of approved ARRT Certification program required. Completion with a passing score of a cross sectional anatomy exam required. If Certified, cross sectional anatomy exam not required. Radiology Technologist required. The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT R)required. The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT CT) within 3 Years required. NYS Cert For IV Contrast Admin 90 Days required. Must become certified in CT within 3 years of hire/transfer and sit for first exam within 18 months from hire/transfer and successfully pass within 3 years from hire/transfer. Certification must remain current and active. Employees hired into job prior to 8/24/04 are grandfathered for ARRT-CT. ARRT -R must be current and maintained for any employees hired/transferred effective 6/12/12. Basic Life Support (BLS) 90 days from hire or transfer required. Existing Imaging Technologists as of 11/10/2020 will have until 8/31/2021 to obtain their BLS.
Experience
1 year of experience in CT preferred. 1 year of experience in X-ray Tech position required.
