What are DEI Editors?

DEI Editors are professionals who focus on ensuring that content, publications, or media are developed with diversity, equity, and inclusion in mind. They review and edit materials to ensure accurate representation of different cultures, identities, and perspectives, and to avoid bias or exclusionary language. DEI Editors often collaborate with writers, publishers, and organizations to create content that reflects and respects a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. Their expertise helps promote fairness, understanding, and inclusivity in all types of communications.

How does the DEI Editor role typically collaborate with other departments to ensure diverse perspectives are represented in published content?
