Design, develop, and implement manual test scripts, test plans, and test cases.

They will be expected to define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts as well as have experience with regression and black box testing.

They must be familiar with NT, UNIX and/or Solaris environments; however the tests will primarily be in Windows.

The ideal candidate will have experience pulling and validating data from databases such as SQL and Oracle as well as a strong back-end testing experience.

The testing and development will be broken up into 2-3 week sprint cycles so if a candidate has experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, they will be a huge asset to this team.

Candidate must be comfortable working closely with various cross functional groups including, developers, business analysts, project managers, and business leaders throughout the 2-3 week sprint cycles. Defect/Bug tracking is done with JIRA and if a candidate has experience with automation testing (Selenium, Cucumber, etc...) that would be a huge plus.


Qualifications

Required:


4-5 years Manual Testing


4-5 Experience writing custom test cases, test plans, and test scripts (from scratch, not modifying existing test scripts)


Experience testing web-based applications


Backend testing experience


Strong Database Knowledge (Oracle/SQL) pulling out data and validating it


Agile/Scrum Experience


Regression Testing


Black Box Testing


Understanding of Agile and working within Scrum teams.
