The Role:

The Deduction Specialist is responsible for deduction resolution, problem solving, and researching discrepancies with payments from customers. This position will also assist the Accounting department with projects as needed.

What You Will Do:.

  • Manage and analyze deductions and short payments on invoices paid
  • Perform weekly calls to customers and brokers for deduction documents
  • Ensure all outstanding deductions are researched and resolved
  • Analyze information to process incomplete payments from customer
  • Complete and process approved credits
  • Responsible for filing freight claim forms
  • Handle all follow up with freight carriers on outstanding freight claims
  • Assist with account receivables functions when needed

What You Will Bring:

  • Basic Accounting experience with Deductions and Cash Application

Compensation Range:

$50,000-$60,000
