Job Description

The Pega Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, validating and verifying a Pega 7.2.x deployment in a FedRAMP cloud environment in support of the 2020 Decennial Census. This individual works closely with the Pega eCase CEDCaP program, Technical Integrator infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud leads to insure the proper environment is defined and deployed to support and scale for 2018 end-to-end test and 2020 Decennial.

Qualifications

         Hands-on expertise and experience with specific technical capability required

         Senior IT Engineer who applies extensive expertise as a specialist with significant experience in enterprise-level programs; solves complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity; performs work without appreciable direction and is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long term perspective; decisions result in an organization achieving critical organizational objectives; may function in project leadership roles and represents the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts. 

         Clear & confident technical communication skills

         Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work, both their own and that of project team. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.

         Team Work: Able to enthuse and maintain team interest. Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team. Prepared to challenge ideas within a group in a constructive way. Ability to influence others and move a team toward a common vision or goal. 

         Leadership: Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product

         Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context. Excellent active listening skills.

         Quantitative Management: Ability to determine process measures and track to determine process effectiveness and efficiency.

         Problem Solving: Natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions.
