Parts Manager – Automotive

Full-Time | $70,000+ based on experience and performance

Fillback Family of Dealerships is looking for an experienced, motivated Parts Manager to take ownership of our Parts Department in Richland Center.

We are looking for someone who understands dealership parts operations, takes pride in running an organized and profitable department, and knows how important Parts is to the success of Service, Sales, and the overall dealership.

This is a hands-on management position. We want someone who can manage the numbers and inventory while also working directly with technicians, customers, vendors, and other departments to keep things moving.

Job Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department
Maintain accurate and well-controlled parts inventory
Monitor daily parts sales, gross profit, margins, and departmental expenses
Actively manage aged and obsolete inventory
Monitor special-order parts and ensure timely follow-up
Manage manufacturer returns, warranty parts, cores, and return processes
Review daily, weekly, and monthly department performance
Maintain inventory accuracy and investigate shortages or discrepancies
Work closely with the Service Department to improve parts availability and technician productivity
Support Sales with accessories, vehicle reconditioning, and other parts needs
Maintain appropriate stocking levels based on actual demand
Ensure excellent service for both internal and external customers
Coordinate parts purchasing and vendor relationships
Participate in dealership manager meetings and operational planning
Assist with annual department goals and budgeting
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, gross profit, inventory turns, and overall department performance
What We're Looking For
3+ years of automotive dealership parts experience preferred
Previous Parts Manager experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Strong understanding of dealership parts inventory and operations
Ability to understand departmental financial statements and performance reports
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on inventory control
Ability to work effectively with Service, Sales, and dealership leadership
Strong customer service and communication skills
Willingness to be hands-on and help wherever needed
Valid driver's license and ability to meet dealership insurance requirements
