Job description

SALES AND FINANCE MANAGER Genesis of St. Charles

Experienced Automotive Leaders Only

Genesis of St. Charles is looking for an accomplished Sales and Finance Manager to join our growing leadership team.

This is not a traditional desk manager position and it is not a traditional F&I position. Our Sales and Finance Managers are expected to be complete automotive professionals capable of running the sales floor, desking and structuring deals, developing salespeople, protecting profitability, delivering an exceptional luxury experience, and producing at a high level in the finance office.

Genesis is still a growing luxury brand in the St. Louis market, and our store continues to gain market share and conquest customers into the brand. We are looking for someone who sees the opportunity in building something—not simply maintaining an established operation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Sales Management

  • Manage daily showroom activity and sales floor operations
  • Desk and structure new and pre-owned vehicle transactions
  • Work directly with sales professionals on negotiations, closing and customer TOs
  • Maximize opportunities while maintaining a customer-first sales process
  • Help grow both new and pre-owned volume
  • Monitor inventory, aging, pricing and merchandising
  • Assist with appraisals and trade evaluations
  • Hold the team accountable to CRM, follow-up and dealership processes
  • Coach and develop sales professionals on a daily basis

Finance Management

  • Perform complete F&I presentations on assigned transactions
  • Secure competitive lender approvals and structure deals appropriately
  • Maximize finance and product opportunities while maintaining compliance
  • Maintain strong backend PVR and product penetration
  • Manage CITs, funding and lender documentation
  • Ensure deals are complete, accurate and turned into accounting promptly
  • Handle cash, finance, lease and specialty transactions
  • Maintain excellent relationships with lending partners

Customer Experience & Leadership

  • Deliver the level of experience expected from a luxury automotive brand
  • Help resolve escalated customer concerns
  • Maintain outstanding Genesis CSI performance
  • Support and enforce the Genesis delivery process
  • Maintain required manufacturer and dealership training
  • Lead from the floor and be accessible to both customers and sales professionals
  • Work collaboratively with the other Sales and Finance Managers as one management team
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This position is for an experienced automotive professional.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Successful automotive sales management and/or F&I management experience
  • Strong desking and deal-structuring ability
  • Proven F&I production
  • Strong understanding of lender programs, compliance and funding
  • Ability to coach, train and hold a sales team accountable
  • Strong closing and customer-facing skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
  • A competitive mindset without sacrificing customer experience
  • Luxury automotive experience strongly preferred
  • Genesis, Hyundai or premium-brand experience is a plus

We are especially interested in high-performing F&I Managers who are ready for broader leadership responsibility and experienced Sales Managers who have demonstrated the ability to produce in F&I.

COMPENSATION

This is a performance-driven compensation plan designed to reward both overall dealership performance and individual F&I production.

Compensation includes:

  • Monthly draw
  • Share of the Sales and Finance Manager gross-profit pool
  • New and pre-owned unit-performance pool
  • Individual F&I commission based on backend PVR
  • Retail Performance Bonus incentives
  • CSI incentives
  • Training and delivery-process incentives

Our compensation structure is designed so that managers benefit directly as the dealership increases volume and profitability.

WHY GENESIS OF ST. CHARLES?

Genesis of St. Charles is a stand‑alone Genesis facility serving the St. Louis market. We are continuing to invest in our people, inventory, processes and customer experience as the Genesis brand grows.

This is an opportunity to join a dealership with substantial growth ahead of it and be part of the leadership team responsible for taking the store to the next level.

We are not looking for someone who simply wants the next management title.

We are looking for someone who can run a desk, close a customer, develop a salesperson, spin a deal and help build a winning culture.

If that describes you, we want to talk.
