The General Manager who will be an essential member of the Leadership Team for the Swope Family of Dealerships. This position is both high profile and critical to the success of the organization. For these reasons, this position requires someone who possesses strong leadership skills; creative promotional abilities; and a strong dedication to achieving the company’s business plan. This key manager will be a believer in the company’s mission statement and will always practice our core values with our guests and associates.

We’re looking for more than a manager—we’re looking for a leader.

The GM will:
  • Have full responsibility for both the variable (sales) and fixed (service/parts) operations of the dealership.
  • Be directly involved in hiring and developing people.
  • Acquire and manage the major unit inventories that meet and exceed the dealership’s goals.
  • Work with dealership marketing team to create result-driven campaigns with strong return on investment.
  • Nurture productive working relationships with manufacturers and lenders.
  • Be accountable for meeting or exceeding manufacturer’s objectives in both the sales and fixed operations, including CSI and KPI targets.
  • Be the primary guest advocate for the dealership and take direct responsibility and action to resolve all guest concerns with the goal of maximizing guest retention while protecting the company from unreasonable policy expense.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance, security and appearance of the facilities and grounds, and will keep them in excellent condition.
  • Be accountable for achieving the financial and operational goals established in the Quarterly Business Plan.
  • Attend the weekly SFD leadership meetings to report on the performance of Swope Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and to assist in developing and implementing marketing plans for the Swope Family of Dealerships.
  • Lead and collaborate with the team to develop the Quarterly Business Plan.
