The Inventory Specialist/Manager is responsible for managing all vehicles for auction and/or dealership inventory.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inventory control related issues and processes
  • Trade inventory with other dealers
  • Manage the inventory replenishment process and analyze changes to inventory levels based on historical data and input from sales
  • Minimize obsolescence and manage customer lease returns
  • Maintain accounting of all vehicles on dealership property
  • Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice
  • Catalog and stores keys
  • Assign stock control numbers to vehicles
  • Runs reports to identify location of vehicles
  • Setup auction lineup on a weekly basis as needed
  • Protect dealership and customer information
  • Maintain good relationships with department and dealership personnel
  • Manage incoming cars, used inventory and incoming dealer trades
  • Supervise inventory counts (periodic cycle and year end), research discrepancies, ensure timely adjustments
  • Maintain pricing stickers on all vehicles as required
  • Automotive experience required
  • Must have high level organizational skills
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
