Job description

Job Title: Catering & Event Sales Manager (Flagship Stores)
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Overseeing 2 Flagship Locations)
Reports to: Franchise Owner / District Manager
$50,000-$60,000 annual salary with OTE $90,000-$100,000
Role Overview
The Catering & Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving top-line revenue through two primary channels: High-Volume B2B Catering and Experiential Venue Activations. This role manages the sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract execution for two high-traffic flagship locations. The ideal candidate will leverage the iconic Five Guys brand to secure partnerships with convention organizers, labor contractors, and global brands.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales & Business Development
  • Convention Targeting: Utilize the 2026 Master Calendar to proactively pitch catering solutions to General Service Contractors (Freeman, GES) and technical labor houses (AV, Security, Production).
  • Venue Activations: Sell "Full Venue Buyouts" and "Window Wrap" media packages to marketing agencies representing Fortune 500 exhibitors (e.g., CES, AWS re:Invent, SEMA).
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the HubSpot CRM, managing automated outreach sequences, lead scoring, and deal stages.
  • Partnership Development: Act as a representative of the business to network and engage with industry vendors and partners to coordinate deal referrals and marketing opportunities.

2. Account Management & Relationship Building
  • Conduct "Burger Drops" and tasting sessions for key decision-makers at corporate headquarters and venue dispatch offices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate event planners, ensuring seamless communication from the initial inquiry to post-event wrap-up.
  • Develop a "Preferred Partner" program for recurring convention vendors to ensure year-over-year retention.

3. Operational Workflow & SOP Oversight
  • Collaborate with Store Managers at both flagships to ensure "Convention SOPs" are followed, protecting retail operations during bulk production.
  • Develop "Last-Mile" logistics plans for complex deliveries into high-security convention zones (LVCC, Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay).
  • Manage on-site logistics for brand activations, including load-in/load-out of third-party furniture, signage, and demo equipment.

4. Financial Performance & Reporting
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for catering and venue rentals.
  • Manage the contracting process, including F&B minimums, buyout fees, and media-wrap pricing.
  • Provide weekly reports to ownership on pipeline value, closed/won revenue, and upcoming high-impact show cycles.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years in B2B Sales, Event Management, or Hotel Sales (Las Vegas market experience preferred).
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in HubSpot (CRM & Payments) or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Las Vegas convention ecosystem and the "load-in/load-out" cycle of major trade shows.
  • Communication: Exceptional pitching and negotiation skills; ability to communicate effectively with both C-suite executives and hourly labor crews.
  • Logistics-Minded: Ability to solve complex "last-mile" delivery challenges in high-pressure environments.
