They work to ensure that clients receive appropriate accommodations and services tailored to their communication needs, such as interpreters or assistive technology. Deaf Case Managers often advocate for their clients, help coordinate care plans, and facilitate communication between clients and other service providers. Their goal is to empower Deaf individuals to navigate social, medical, and educational systems independently and effectively.

How does a Deaf Case Manager typically collaborate with other professionals to support clients?

Deaf Case Managers regularly work alongside social workers, mental health professionals, educators, and interpreters to ensure clients receive comprehensive support. Collaboration often involves attending interdisciplinary meetings, sharing client progress updates, and coordinating services such as housing, employment assistance, or healthcare access.
