Job description

Deadend Bakehouse is hiring a year-round or full time Cashier / Barista to join our team!
If you love the smell of fresh pastry, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in crafting the perfect cup of coffee, we want to meet you. This is a permanent, year-round position-not a seasonal gig.
What You Will Do
  • Greet customers with a warm welcome and guide them through our daily bake lineup.
  • Operate the POS system, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and manage the pastry display.
  • Dial in espresso and craft high-quality coffee and specialty beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness behind the counter, at the barista station, and in the customer seating area.

What We Are Looking For
  • Reliability: You show up on time and ready to bring good energy to the team.
  • Experience: Previous barista or specialty coffee experience is highly preferred, but we will train the right person with a great attitude.
  • Availability: Must be available to work weekends and early morning shifts year-round.
  • Communication: You can handle a busy morning rush with a calm face and clear communication.

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay plus excellent tips.
  • A supportive, creative, and fun team environment.
  • Stable, predictable scheduling.
