Job description

Local Candidates Only. Candidates must live within daily commute range of stated city.
Location: Las Cruces, NM
Schedule: 1/2 day per week
Pay: $90 to $105 an hour.
Office: PRN - no office of your own required. You work out of an established clinic in Las Cruces, NM and see veterans on site. You need to live within 50 miles of Las Cruces, NM. The exact clinic address is shared once you are accepted.
The work
You examine veterans and record what you find on standard disability evaluation forms. Each exam is a one-time evaluation, not ongoing care. You do not treat, prescribe, or manage these patients afterward. Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
What you need
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
  • Board certification
  • NPI number
  • Current ACLS and BLS
  • Active DEA
  • A home address within 50 miles of Las Cruces, NM
  • CV in month and year format
How it starts
  • Send your CV, state license, board certification, ACLS and BLS, DEA, and NPI.
  • Once you are accepted, the rest of the credentialing paperwork is due within 3 days.
  • Online training runs about 8 to 10 hours, is paid, and must be finished within 7 business days.
  • You then complete a virtual pre-exam orientation, and your first exams are scheduled.
