We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Program Manager / DDD Program Supervisor to support and oversee services for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Mercer, Somerset, and Middlesex County, NJ. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about helping individuals live meaningful lives while ensuring quality services, staff accountability, and compliance with state regulations.

The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, compassionate, and understands how to successfully manage teams while supporting individuals with complex needs and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of DDD services and program activities

  • Ensure compliance with all NJ DDD policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Supervise, coach, and support DSPs and other staff members

  • Manage staff schedules, performance, accountability, and ongoing support

  • Assist with staff training, development, and mentoring

  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges using appropriate interventions and strategies

  • Monitor documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion of required records

  • Communicate effectively with families, support coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Assist in problem-solving, crisis intervention, and service coordination

  • Support program growth and ensure high-quality services are maintained

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience within NJ DDD services

  • Strong knowledge of NJ DDD policies, procedures, ISP implementation, and compliance requirements

  • Previous experience managing and supervising staff

  • Experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Flexible schedule availability

Preferred:

  • Bilingual Spanish/English

  • Experience with behavioral services and crisis management

  • Experience developing staff and improving team performance
