Snapshot of Position:

  • This position designs, implements, tests automation and control systems for process or manufacturing systems. This position has discretion over designs and modifications for client projects with some guidance. It also provides support to fellow team members.


Location & Travel:

  • Primary Location: Indianapolis, IN, with the possibility to support clients at other locations

Your Role's Responsibilities:

  • Building good relationships with customers
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systems
  • Understanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentation
  • Investigating and solving complex problems
  • Demonstrating solid rapport with clients, peers, and supervisors
  • Addressing on-call requests as needed
  • Being a self-starter that can work both independently and in team-based project environments

  • Remaining a minimum of 80% billable with leadership and sales assistance

    What You Need for this Position:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field
    • 5-10 years of experience in process control and automation
    • 5-10 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring DeltaV, PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems(experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens,or Wonderware is a plus)
    • Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
    • Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
    • Ability to address on-call requests as needed
