What You Will Do:

As the Distributive Controls and Information System (DCIS) Engineering Manager, that will lead the team responsible for the developing the controls system for a Nuclear Power Plant. This includes the design, maintenance, modification, and performance optimization of control systems supporting plant systems in a nuclear power facility. This role ensures reliable operation of turbine-generator, feedwater, cooling water, condensate, and auxiliary systems in compliance with regulatory and plant requirements. 

The position requires strong technical discipline, configuration control adherence, and collaboration with operations, design, and engineering teams. 

  • Providing technical and managerial leadership for the Nuclear controls DCIS team. With direct management of the engineers on the team
  • Drive Nuclear safety-first culture
  • Document and track qualification of engineers and fitness for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure compliance to client’s Quality Management System
  • Own teams project performance, schedule, task assignments.

·        Act as the face of Quest Global to customers and stakeholders for matters related to the Value Stream; build trusting relationships based on performance and responsiveness

·        Balance needs of stakeholders (customers, employees, and the company)

·        Model and predict demand based on market and customer inputs

·        Develop and implement capability and capacity plans within the value stream

·        Employ daily management practices to monitor delivery; identify and address challenges

·        Promote quality culture and systems that ensure consistent delivery excellence

·        Manage team performance through goal-setting and appraisal processes

·        Champion employee engagement, recognition and strong culture throughout the team

·        Manage team communication rhythms, including all-hands meetings, information flow-down, and team connects

·        Develop and mentor front-line managers and contribute to leadership pipeline

·        Support special initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance performance, growth, innovation, best-practice implementation, and hygiene of the business unit

  • Own safety, quality, delivery, cost for team project delivery
  • Support and present at governance meetings with company and customer executives to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher with at least 15 years of relevant engineering experience in gas power controls
  • Proven leadership and technical capability
  • Experience driving performance and improvement in engineering technology
  • Demonstrated global mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across cultures
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively and clearly with management, peers, team members, and clients

Work Requirements: This role is preferred to be an onsite position in Greenville, SC. However, remote work can be considered at time of interview. 

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. 

Pay Range: $110,000 to $130,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. 

Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 30% travel is required.

Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
