Reports To: Senior Planning Manager

Location: The Woodlands, TXย  ย  ย  ย  ย 

Amount of Travel Required: Less than 5%

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. โ€“ 5 p.m.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Planning Analyst โ€“ Supply Chain supports the development and execution of demand, supply, and inventory plans to ensure efficient operations and optimal service levels. This role leverages data analysis, forecasting tools, and cross-functional collaboration to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")

  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and business inputs to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Support supply and production planning by identifying capacity constraints and recommending adjustments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment strategies to minimize stockouts and excess.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to align plans and resolve issues.
  • Maintain planning models and tools, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate planning performance, forecast accuracy, and key metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Assist in scenario planning and risk analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings and contribute to cross-functional planning efforts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful platform operation, development, and business continuity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid U.S. Driverโ€™s Licenseย required.ย Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, includingย 3 yearย U.S. driving history andย an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)ย in accordance withย Company policy.ย ย 
  • Consistent and reliable in person attendance in The Woodlands, TX.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • U.S. High School Diplomaย or GEDย required.ย ย 
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, or data analysis preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, SQL, and planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Oracle Fusion Production Planning experience required.
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems preferred.
  • APICS or other supply chain certification is a plus.

The Planning Analyst works indoors in an office setting, primarily sitting for extended periods of time at a desk station, keyboarding and using repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and or fingers. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at computer monitor. They will also need to speak clearly and audibly, as well as have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) deriving from in person speech, telephone, or other remote speech. No adverse environmental conditions are expected. While in the office, the Planning Analyst may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the Planning Analyst should be able to lift 25 lbs. independently.

Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
