Generate, reconcile, process reports, including researching inventory discrepancies and collaborating with other departments as needed. The successful candidate must be able to provide effective leadership of operational execution and planning to ensure the absolute best service.**What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities:**The responsibilities of the Tuxedo Processing Manager will consist of but are not limited to the following:• Effectively manage manpower in a Tuxedo distribution/production environment• Provide training for employees and promote self-development• Maintain employee attendance records• Identify and address performance issues• Work with other departments within the distribution center to solve merchandise processing and shipping problems• Participate in daily planning meetings with all Tuxedo Rental functional leaders• Interact with and maintain a positive relationship with management, department staff and store personnel• Maintain a clean and safe work area* Participate in Safety meetings and Accident prevention and investigation.* Participate in Quality improvements and Corrective Actions.* Ensure internal customer expectations are exceeded.* Driving costs down through employee development, employee suggestions and accountability.* Increase morale through employee interactions, rewards and accountability.• Maintain equipment inventory• Maintain a high-quality work environment• Assist manager in the development of plans to accomplish departmental goals• Document and track metrics to measure efficiency of department and develop corrective actions.• Special projects as needed• Ensure employee morale is kept at a high standard• Manage activities designed to reduce the risk of accidents and decrease these safety-related costs• Ensure organizational safety compliance and promote awareness**Skills & Experience:**• Must have min. 2 years of experience managing in a distribution environment• Degree Preferred• Ability to verbally communicate effectively (i.e., with staff, management, store personnel, etc.)• Oracle ERP experience a plus• General Purchasing experience a plus• Receiving Shipping and Inventory management experience required• Proven track record of successful KPI management and improvement• Proficiency in Microsoft office products to include Excel, Word and Outlook• High confidentiality competence• Positive professional manner• Ability to prioritize and organize work related tasks and special projects• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet tight deadlines• Above average written and verbal communication skills• Work well in a team environment• Highly initiative and detailed oriented• Good problem-solving skills• Knowledge of lean tools.
