Job description

Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a project with the DC government. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing software solutions while addressing integration and compatibility issues, and leading project teams.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
โ€ข Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
โ€ข Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
โ€ข Designs and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
โ€ข Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
โ€ข Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
โ€ข Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
โ€ข Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
โ€ข Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
โ€ข Acts as team leader on projects.
โ€ข Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
โ€ข Participates in development of software user manuals.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
โ€ข ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification highly desired
โ€ข Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development of the modules listed above.
โ€ข Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
โ€ข Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
โ€ข Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
โ€ข Possess an in-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow Architecture and ServiceNow Scripting.
โ€ข Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
โ€ข Demonstrated knowledge of service management processes, procedures, and software, and including knowledge of ServiceNow.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
