Job description:
  • Analysis, design, coding, performance tuning, migration of data and implementation of database solutions using PostgreSQL
  • Evaluation, maintenance, and enhancement of existing processes, stored procedures, and functions, load and performance tuning of existing procedures
  • Data analysis, produce ad hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs
  • Create documentation for applications and processes
  • Daily triage of bugs and tasks
  • 4-5+ years working as a database developer working with MySQL/SQL Server/PostgreSQL
  • Able to write code in SQL
  • Experience in Query tuning and understand SQL data types impacts in terms of result
  • Understanding of new keywords like "rank," "partition," "CTE", "merge"
  • Understand Raising PR/Code Review.
  • 1+ years working experience of PostgreSQL is a must
  • Expertise in stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Ability to create normalized/de-normalized database schemas
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Devops and creating / promoting code through CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience in AWS development like Lambda functions, Python and glue job

Desired Skills:
  • Experienced in the full System Development Life Cycle (Dev, Test, Prod)
  • Should be experienced in executing migration projects.
  • Experienced in Cloud based Database - Dynamo DB
