Breakfast Attendant

  • Work Location: Hampton Inn Benton Harbor. 1921 Pipestone Rd Benton Harbor, Michigan.
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $14.50 per hour
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, Night shifts, Holidays, and Weekends

Typical Shift Hours & Schedule + Additional Information (i.e. Necessary Experience, Skills, Programs, Req Access etc.)

5AM -12 PM


Guest Service

  • Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly, professional, and welcoming
  • Greet guests promptly and courteously during breakfast hours
  • Interact with guests to ensure comfort and satisfaction
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests, concerns, or complaints
  • Communicate guest feedback or special requests to management or the front desk
  • Actively support and participate in guest service initiatives and brand expectations


Breakfast Operations

  • Set up, maintain, and break down the breakfast bar according to brand standards
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold breakfast items following approved menus and procedures
  • Stock and monitor coffee, juice, milk, and beverage dispensers
  • Arrange serving dishes, utensils, cups, napkins, and paper products
  • Ensure cold food items such as pastries, cereals, yogurt, and fruit are properly displayed and replenished
  • Replenish all breakfast items consistently throughout service and prepare for the next day
  • Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
  • Wash, sanitize, and store serving equipment and utensils
  • Return reusable food supplies and equipment to proper storage areas


Cleanliness & Safety

  • Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, cabinets, equipment, and floors
  • Clear and clean tables promptly as guests finish
  • Wipe up spills immediately to maintain safety and cleanliness
  • Remove trash regularly and keep waste areas clean and organized
  • Follow all hotel, brand, and local health department safety guidelines
