Must-Have: Minimum 1 year Emergency Department RN experience, Ability to care for critically ill patients, Ability to care for patients of all ages and all levels of care

Description: Must have experience in a hospital setting. Freestanding Emergency Department with 11 beds and a patient ratio of 5:1. Type of equipment includes Vent and BiPAP Hamilton V60, IV pumps, and monitors. Documentation system is Meditech-Expanse. Scheduling requirements include three day-shift RNs, one mid-shift RN, and three night-shift RNs. Floating policy may involve potential to float to other facilities but primarily remains at the designated location. Patient experience requirements include care for Emergency Department patients of all acuity levels, including critical, emergent, urgent, non-urgent, and psych. Advanced skills needed include proficiency in obtaining IV access on patients. Procedures performed include point of care lab, medication administration, IVs, and blood draws. Respiratory training is offered with no Respiratory Therapist on-site; troubleshooting is available by phone from the main campus. Night shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM with every third weekend required. Dress code requires navy scrubs and closed-toed shoes with backs. This is a brand new facility with advanced equipment and technology.
