Registered Nurse-Medsurg

Location: Hilo, Hawaii

Pay Rate: $1700 To $1908/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts 

Experience: Minimum 2 Years Med-Surg 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RN Flex Pool to provide high-quality patient care across Medical, Surgical, and Step Down units. This role requires flexibility to float between assigned units while delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical, Surgical, and Step Down patients.

  • Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and individualized care planning.

  • Float between Medical, Surgical Acute, and Cardiovascular units as assigned.

  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly with the healthcare team.

  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Requirements
  • Active Hawaii RN License required by the start of the assignment.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

  • Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg and/or Step Down RN experience required.

  • PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and Procedural Sedation certifications are preferred.

  • Must be willing to float between units and work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
