Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work as one of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements and clean room area and equipment cleaning / sanitizing.

  • Execute a high level of quality inspections, including visual inspections, product testing

  • Execute computer transactions in SAP (confirmations)

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment

  • Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning.

  • Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment

  • Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks.

  • Perform rework

  • Cross train where needed within the department to support the business

  • Maintain all quality and GMP standards

  • May require the use of 10x microscope, calipers, compariter and/or other miscellaneous gauges/quality testing machines

  • Participate on blitz teams as assigned

  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education:

  • High School diploma/GED preferred

  • In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required

Experience:

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

  • Previous experience with MES preferred

  • Previous experience with precision measuring instruments preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Work effectively on own, or in a team atmosphere - Proficient

  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area - Proficient

  • Willingness and ability to train others - Proficient

  • Teamwork - Proficient

  • Organization skills, detailed oriented - Basic

PCP Level: 3
