Job description

Bring Your Book. We'll Make It Worth More.

Are you selling print, promo, signage, or apparel for a company that caps your commissions, brokers everything out, or can't produce what you sell? We should talk.

About Us

Minuteman Press of Western New York operates two full-service print and marketing centers — Minuteman Press Amherst and Minuteman Press Downtown Buffalo. We're locally owned and owner-operated, backed by the resources of the world's leading printing franchise. Commercial printing, wide format signage, promotional products, decorated apparel, and direct mail — all produced in-house at both locations. That means faster turnarounds, tighter quality control, and better margins for the people who sell it. We run on EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System): clear goals, real accountability, no politics. We're growing, and we're building a sales-driven culture to match.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a B2B territory across the Buffalo–Amherst market
  • Sell the full product line: commercial printing, wide format, promotional products, decorated apparel, and direct mail campaigns
  • Bring existing accounts with you and service them with in-house production and better turnaround
  • Prospect new accounts in healthcare, education, manufacturing, professional services, and nonprofits
  • Work directly with ownership and our Operations Manager — no corporate bureaucracy between you and a yes

Key Skills We're Looking For

  • Consultative B2B selling — diagnosing customer needs and selling solutions, not quoting specs
  • Prospecting and pipeline discipline — self-sourced pipeline through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Account expansion — growing print customers into promo, apparel, and mail
  • Print and promotional product knowledge — enough technical fluency to spec jobs accurately
  • Margin awareness — you understand gross profit, not just top-line revenue
  • CRM proficiency, strong relationship management, and confident closing skills

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in printing, promotional products, signage, apparel decoration, or a closely related industry
  • Existing book of business or strong network in the WNY market strongly preferred — and we pay a premium for it
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission on gross profit — no caps, no resets
  • Accelerated commission rate for 12 months on every account you transfer or open in your first year
  • Guaranteed minimum income during your first 90–180 days — no pay cut to make a smart career move
  • Realistic first-year earnings: $75,000–$110,000+ depending on book size; top producers exceed this
  • Mileage/auto allowance and phone allowance
  • Paid time off and holidays

How to Apply

Apply with your resume and a brief note about your industry experience. If you have a book of business, tell us roughly what it looks like — industries and annual volume. Confidentiality guaranteed; we know what it means to explore a move while employed.

We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
