This position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church.

To format patterns of the automated Gerber Cutter and for manual cutting to make the best use of the fabric

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education or experience
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a production environment

  • Basic math skills and capable of doing more complex problems

60% - Generates cut orders and builds markers for Gerber cutting and manual cuts by selecting pattern pieces from files and arranging them to make the best use of the fabric. Makes customized patterns to meet the needs of the special orders and foreign manufactures. Verifies quality of cut orders.

10% - Receives information of quantity issued to be cut and style to be cut. Works up cut orders.

5% - Maintains work order files to ensure accuracy and that appropriate action is taken

5% - Loads paper on plotter 5-6 times weekly. Maintains and orders supplies to avoid work interruptions

5% - Adjusts priorities daily to respond to need changes in the mix of work to keep production flowing smoothly

5% - Works with Gerber team to understand the impact of AM-5 work on this function
