Inpatient Registered Nurse (HICC) 

 

Schedule: Self-scheduling; 36 hours per week w/weekend requirement (every 3rd weekend)

Location: Norton Healthcare Pavilion 315 East Broadway, 6th floor, Louisville, KY 40202

Registered Nurse (HICC) Position Summary: 

The Inpatient Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for direction, supervision, coordination and evaluation of all aspects of hospice nursing care provided in the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center within basic policies of the Clinical Services Department and overall department goals. Demonstrates excellence in nursing practice and oversees the hospice care provided by CNAs and Unit Secretaries.

 

Registered Nurse (HICC) Position Qualifications:

  • RN with current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
  • BSN preferred.
  • CHPN encouraged.
  • One year of nursing experience required.
  • Knowledge of  Hospice and or palliative care preferred.
  • Use of technology-based tools, including electronic medical record, strongly preferred.
