Job description

 We are hiring immediately for a Aircraft Interior Technician. 

What you will be doing as a Aircraft Interior Technician: 

In this role, you will assist with the interior installations of various aircraft, including tasks like assembly, bonding, sanding, and filling of composite parts. You’ll also be responsible for installing silk screens, placards, and adjusting upholstery, furniture, and accessories. 

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): 

  • Interior Installations: Complete interior installations of upholstery items, furniture, and accessories using aircraft orders, engineering specifications, and manufacturing planning requirements 
  • Repair Support: Address interior repair issues to meet delivery schedules 
  • Composite Assembly: Bond and assemble composite parts for upholstery using assembly jigs, rivets, fasteners, screws, and liquid adhesive 
  • Tool Utilization: Use a variety of hand and power tools, along with basic measuring instruments 
  • Interior Protection: Maintain cleanliness and protect aircraft interiors with covers on windows, seats, and floors during and after installation  

What you need to be successful: 

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required 
  • Combination of 3 months experience in upholstery, installation of aircraft interiors, or related experience 
  • Ability to work in working conditions with occasional exposure to fumes, heat, and cold
