Part-Time Aircraft Cleaner – Interior & Exterior (British Airways – STL)

Position Objective:

To properly clean aircraft interior and exterior areas and perform aircraft searches for non-allowed items onboard in accordance with airline requirements and safety regulations.


Employment Type:

Part-Time

Shift / Hours:

12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate:

$16.00 per hour


General Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Reliable transportation required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Aircraft cleaning experience preferred but not required

  • Must be eligible to pass an FBI background check for airport badge clearance


Interior Aircraft Cleaner – Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collect and dispose of trash from interior aircraft areas

  • Maintain cleaning supplies stocked and organized after each use

  • Perform aircraft searches as trained per airline requirements

  • Follow safety protocols and report potential hazards immediately

  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks including, but not limited to, mopping and vacuuming in preparation for passenger boarding


Exterior Aircraft Cleaner – Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain chemicals and equipment stocked and organized after each use

  • Pre-check and gather all required materials, equipment, and chemicals to perform aircraft washes, waxes, and inspections

  • Apply, document, and verify that equipment has been properly prepared and installed according to airline safety protocols

  • Complete FOD (Foreign Object Debris) walks of aircraft exterior areas to maintain clean and safe workspaces in accordance with airport safety regulations


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be physically capable of performing labor-intensive duties

  • Must be able to lift, carry, or hold 75 pounds or more

  • Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend frequently throughout the shift


Dress Code Requirements:
  • Clean, professional appearance at all times

  • Company-issued uniform must be worn as directed

  • Black, non-slip work shoes required

  • No visible tattoos (must be covered)

  • No facial piercings or excessive jewelry

  • Conservative hairstyles and natural hair colors only

  • Nail length must meet company grooming requirements

  • Must adhere to all company grooming and safety standards
