Summary
Washington Adventist University is seeking candidates for medical-surgical clinical nursing adjunct faculty in the Department of Nursing 2019-2020 academic year. For the Fall semester,a adjunct faculty is needed to teach medical-surgical nursing on Thursdays, day shift.In addition a adjunct faculty needed to teach a day-shift nursing home clinical on Tuesday for the second half of each semester.
Applications will be reviewed periodically based on student enrollment needs. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are not automatically accepted to teach at Washington Adventist University.Decisions to hire applicants are made at the discretion of the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Clinical instruction and supervision of up to 7 students.
  • Evaluation of students based on their clinical performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing and 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Current RN license in Maryland or Multi-State Privilege License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
