This is a highly visible role responsible for maintaining and improving enterprise datacenter operations, infrastructure reliability, compliance readiness, and operational excellence across multiple facilities.

What This Role Is Really Looking For?
We're looking for a hands-on infrastructure professional who understands that successful datacenter operations require both technical expertise and leadership.
This role is approximately 80% focused on datacenter operations and critical infrastructure management and 20% focused on broader enterprise infrastructure support, including servers, storage, cloud technologies, and lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate can confidently step into a major incident, coordinate providers and vendors, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, identify compliance risks before they become problems, and ensure enterprise standards are consistently maintained across multiple locations.
You'll thrive here if you're equally comfortable working in a datacenter environment, collaborating with global IT teams, managing vendors, and driving operational improvements.
What You'll Do?
  • Lead day-to-day datacenter operations across multiple enterprise locations.
  • Serve as the technical expert for infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring work is completed according to scope, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and risk reduction.
  • Support enterprise cloud platforms including AWS and Azure environments.
  • Implement and maintain redundancy, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
  • Manage ITIL processes including incident management, change management, and configuration management.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements, including infrastructure documentation and operational controls.
  • Troubleshoot complex datacenter issues involving cabling, power, racks, connectivity, and hardware infrastructure.
  • Support infrastructure lifecycle management including upgrades, patching, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to standardize processes and align with enterprise best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and infrastructure reliability.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through successful implementation.
  • Participate in occasional after-hours, weekend, holiday, and on-call support activities as needed.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • One of the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Associate Degree with 2+ years of additional professional IT experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Experience
  • 5+ years of IT infrastructure engineering experience
  • 5+ years of datacenter operations experience
  • 5+ years supporting enterprise servers, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure platforms
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, audits, and operational governance
  • Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience managing vendors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles
  • Advanced knowledge of fiber and copper cabling infrastructure
  • Advanced knowledge of racks, pathways, structured cabling, and IT power systems
  • Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, cabling, and power-related issues
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and operational support
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple sites and priorities

  • ServiceNow administration or operational experience
  • Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools
  • Infrastructure compliance frameworks including ISO, TISAX, TUV, FDIC, or similar standards
  • SAN and NAS storage platforms
