Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Database Administrator to join a mission-critical program supporting large-scale Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments. This role is heavily focused on datacenter and platform migration, requiring hands-on expertise in planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization within a regulated Banking/Financial Services environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Oracle (11g/12c/19c including Exadata) and Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) platforms
  • Perform database build, configuration, and hardening on target environments
  • Conduct data consistency checks and performance baseline comparisons post-migration
  • Support HA/DR strategies including failover testing and production cutover best practices
  • Maintain runbooks, migration reports, and operational handover documentation
  • Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams throughout migration lifecycle
  • Work within ServiceNow, Jira, and CMDB as part of migration execution and handover
Required Skills
  • Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN
  • SQL Server Always On, clustering, backup/restore, and replication
  • Pre-migration validation: version/patch compatibility, character set, storage layout, connectivity
