Job description

A leading electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in hyperscale data center construction. This role requires deep electrical project management experience, especially in healthcare settings, and offers the opportunity to lead large-scale projects with autonomy and impact.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability
- Review construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates in detail
- Establish project goals, schedules, policies, and standards in alignment with company procedures
- Lead procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services; manage RFIs, submittals, and document control
- Coordinate drawing updates and field documentation; ensure implementation of RFIs and design changes
- Direct field construction activities with foremen and superintendents to maintain schedules and budgets
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain client satisfaction and project performance
- Prepare billing, costing reports, change orders, and financial forecasts for leadership review
- Represent the company in client meetings, manage relationships, and ensure alignment with contract terms
- Supervise and mentor project managers, assistant PMs, and field teams while promoting a positive culture
- Coordinate with VDC/BIM teams to optimize layout and installation through BIM meetings and model review
- Support QA/QC and safety programs on-site; reinforce adherence to safety protocols across teams
- Partner with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and retention of qualified project staff
Senior Project Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of electrical project management experience with an electrical contractor
- Proven experience managing datacenter construction projects $20M+ in contract value
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience preferred
