Geographic Vice President

Sogeti Baltimore, Maryland United States (Hybrid)


What you’ll do:


The Geographic Vice President will provide leadership and be responsible for driving revenue through prospecting, acquisition, development, and expansion of customer opportunities.


The primary responsibilities of the GVP will be to:

  • Innovate and lead a balanced pyramid of consultants
  • Brand themselves and Sogeti in their local markets as THE IT consulting company in their market
  • Qualify and lead complex pursuits leveraging an industrialized delivery model of on-shore and offshore consultants
  • Generate business leads to achieve short and long term revenue and profit growth.
  • Develop and executing a business development strategy for a metropolitan area
  • Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of: Microsoft, IBM, AWS and Oracle product suites and implementation services for those products
  • Manage overall business development process from pre to post-sales
  • Responsible for P&L of the unit
  • Support regional sales and opportunity pipeline management meetings that lead to accelerated business closure
  • Develop and maintain an opportunity pipeline through the Customer Relationship Management
  • System including support for opportunity pipeline management meetings, forecasting, opportunity management, and business and technical proposal reviews
  • Support regional marketing endeavors for brand development, market awareness, market

positioning and market demand generation involving media, analysts and active participation in the IT community by our technical consultants

  • Proposal creation and delivery (written and oral participation with engagement team)


What you’ll bring:

  • 10 + years of services sales, delivery or professional consulting experience
  • Consulting or related services sales experience, ideally consisting of a combination of Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks and Oracle products
  • Vertical expertise in (at least) one industry vertical
  • Extensive experience working with a Rightshore sales and delivery model.
  • Four-year college degree, advance degree (M.B.A. or equivalent) preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing sales pipeline
  • Demonstrated experience meeting sales and delivered revenue quotas
  • Familiarity with Microsoft, IBM, AWS and Oracle solutions
  • Reside in the specified metropolitan area and have established contacts within that geography’s business.
  • Willingness to travel within region


Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
