DataBricks Project Manager / Scrum Master

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to support a strategic Digital & Technology initiative focused on driving innovation and delivery excellence across the organization. This individual will serve as both a project leader and Agile champion, partnering with cross functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.

In this role, you will lead project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication while facilitating Agile practices that help teams remain focused, productive, and aligned. You will play a critical role in managing risks, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring successful project outcomes within a dynamic, data-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery while managing scope, schedules, milestones, and project documentation

• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

• Develop and maintain project plans, Jira boards, status reports, and delivery metrics

• Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and key milestones to business and technology leadership

• Identify, track, escalate, and resolve project risks, issues, and blockers in a timely manner

• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage and prioritize backlogs effectively

• Support Program Increment planning activities and coordinate readiness across multiple teams

• Drive adherence to Agile methodologies, PMO standards, and continuous process improvement initiatives

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience serving as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master within Agile environments

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required

• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and traditional project management practices

• Experience managing project schedules, risks, budgets, dependencies, and stakeholder communications

• Advanced proficiency with Jira, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Visio

• Experience supporting Data Analytics, Data Governance, Data Science, or related technology initiatives preferred

• Familiarity with Teradata, Databricks, or similar data platforms is highly desired

• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, problem solving, and decision making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise level Digital, Data, or Analytics organizations

• Background working within large PMO environments

• Experience supporting SAFe methodologies and Program Increment planning activities

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across technical and business teams

• Experience establishing Agile best practices and delivery standards across multiple teams
