Responsibilities

Perform intermediate-level database analysis and database updates independently with broad tasking and guidance. Lead database analysis tasks, validate database updates and corrections. Provide technical expertise to junior analysts. Perform and validate initiatives related to data modeling, optimization, and data integrity. Validate database change requests.

Qualifications

You Have: 

  • Experience with maintaining the integrity, security, and availability of database(s)
  • Experience with administering, maintaining, and implementing policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database(s)
  • Experience providing server administration with a variety of database products that include Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE
  • Experience performing disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data
  • Experience directing the monitoring, administrating, and implementing performance on database systems as well as database performance optimization, developing/changing database indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database
  • Ability to establish and maintain database user accounts
  • Ability to evaluate requirements and recommend available DBMS products
  • Ability to support data modeling activities by way of prototype database implementation
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (computer science, electrical engineering, intelligence studies, or related discipline) and 10 years of demonstrated experience

  • Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes
  • Experience performing database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability
  • Experience coordinating database architecture changes with Database Engineer (DBE)s

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81.74 to $91.35 per hour.  The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch's total compensation package for employees.
