Join our Database Systems Engineering team within the Fleet Operation Engineering Group - the people responsible for keeping the systems and storage infrastructure that power Apple's services running at extraordinary scale.This role sits at the heart of large-scale storage operations. You'll own the configuration, provisioning, and health of SAN environments - designing automation tools that reduce toil, maintaining Linux infrastructure at massive scale, and partnering closely with developers, DBAs, network engineers, and EPMs to build the environments that make Apple's products possible.If you are energized by solving complex storage and systems challenges, thrive in collaborative cross-functional settings, and take pride in building reliable, automated infrastructure - you'll find a meaningful home on our team.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, or Java, or other object-oriented programming languagesKnowledge of networking fundamentals as they relate to storage and systems infrastructureFamiliarity with Oracle software stack and/or NoSQL databasesExperience with version control systems such as Git
