About the job

The Oracle Fusion Database Administrator (DBA) ensures the performance, security, and reliability

of Oracle Fusion environments and supporting database systems.


We're looking for someone who

● Holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software

Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

● Has 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA supporting Oracle Fusion Applications or

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

● Demonstrates strong knowledge of Oracle Database (12c–19c), RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and

OEM

● Has experience supporting Oracle Fusion SaaS environments and quarterly release cycles

● Understands Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and data loads such as FBDI/HDL

● Possesses strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with experience in performance tuning and

analysis tools (AWR/ADDM)

● Communicates effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

● Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

● Shows strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

● Holds Oracle certifications such as OCA, OCP, OCI, or Fusion Cloud (preferred)

● Has experience with DevOps tools and automation such as Shell scripting, Python,

Terraform, or Ansible (preferred)


What you'll do

● Lead operational support for Oracle Fusion Cloud environments, ensuring system

availability, performance, and reliability

● Manage Oracle quarterly release cycles including environment refreshes, patching,

coordination, and validation

● Design, support, and troubleshoot integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud, SOA, and

REST/SOAP APIs

● Monitor and optimize middleware integrations, addressing performance and connectivity

risks

● Partner with business and IT teams to support regression testing and production readiness

activities

● Implement and maintain security, access controls, encryption, and audit mechanisms

● Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GxP, GDPR, and HIPAA

● Support validated change management processes with proper documentation and audit

readiness

● Maintain architectural diagrams, SOPs, and operational standards

● Execute ITIL-aligned change management and document system configurations and

updates

● Monitor integration performance and proactively address system issues

● Lead root cause analysis for incidents and coordinate resolution with internal teams and

vendors

● Collaborate with external partners to resolve complex, escalated issues
