Technical skills:
  • Thorough and In-depth knowledge of oracle ERP, architecture, Oracle RDBMS.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting skills - Mandatory.
  • MSSQL and RPA (Automation Anywhere (Blue prism tool) is Mandatory.
  • Apply patches and updates to Oracle EBS, including functional and technical patches.
  • Backup and restore Oracle databases using RMAN (Recovery Manager) or other tools.
  • Perform database performance tuning, including query optimization and indexing.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, OAM, and other Oracle technologies.
  • Creates physical database objectives following established standards and processes employed by database team.
  • Enforces database standards and follows up on inconsistencies.
  • Performs routine reviews of databases and systems to ensure acceptable levels of performance.
  • Reports on problem performance areas and recommendations for improvement.
  • Follows up on recommendations and actively pushes for implementation as appropriate.
  • Understands and apply database concepts such as database definitions, parameters, database components placement, reorganization, access methods and security definitions.
  • Works with capacity planning, operations, application developers and other teams on database performance and access issues.
  • Very well versed with TLS/OAG certificate renewals.
  • Good understanding of Network topology, Proxies, SFTP, IPV4, IPV6 in the E-business portfolios.
  • Very good exposure to various other and 3rd party tools - Getpaid, vertex, ETAL, MSSQL, RPA etc.
  • Provide advice and support to development resources.
  • Monitor database performance, propose and implement agreed performance enhancing changes.
  • 24x7 On-call support for Production Incident resolution.
  • OEM monitoring, identifying performance issues.
  • Unix, Linux basic support, and shell scripting.
  • Preferable to have knowledge in OCI.
