Job Summary:
Intelliswift - An LTTS Company is seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain data structures and ETL processes for mission-critical projects. The role involves mentoring junior staff, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver optimized database solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops, tests and troubleshoots applicable software packages that implement complex ETL processes in accordance with business requirements and service level agreements.
• Works with application developers, business partners, management and Data Warehouse team.
• Extends the data model to house additional structures as needed to meet applicable regulatory requirements.
• Designs data warehouse or data mart fact tables, aggregate tables, and dimensions.
• Delivers quality data integration projects, standards, best practices and data dictionary.
• Develops ETL audits and controls to ensure quality of data meets or exceeds defined standards and thresholds.
• Develops and documents systems, processes and logic required to expose existing data sets in the warehouse to end users for reporting and analytical purposes.
• Monitors ETL applications for performance and improvement opportunities.
• Ensures quality, consistency and security of company data and data warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex software problems.
• Conducts packaging, release and change management.
• Communicates open items and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, and business areas.
• Reviews requirements, architecture and design components of ongoing and upcoming Tier 1 projects.
• Conducts and manages code review sessions between developers to review applicable software programs and packages, stored procedures, and views.
• Keeps informed of tools, techniques and components utilized in the industry through research and applies this knowledge to system(s) being developed.
• Mentors less experienced database / ETL developers.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Good knowledge of metadata, and using/managing metadata
• Solid understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC), software best practices and development methodologies
• Understanding of building data warehouses for analytical and business intelligence solutions
• Understanding of business solutions that the data warehouse serves
• Strong technologist with excellent data analysis and ETL skills
• Strong architecture/design/development skills
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
• Skill in developing and organizing high-quality documentation
