Job Summary

We are seeking energetic, responsible graduate level interns to join ASM Global in the following departments: Marketing, Sales, Technology Operations, Human Resources and Sports and Live Events. Interns will be expected to perform assigned department tasks and projects while bringing their academic knowledge of the Sports and Entertainment Industry to support departmental operations.

Essential Functions

  • Complete department project as assigned by department head
  • Assist with ongoing daily administrative tasks
  • Support department for event preparation
  • Work a variety of stadium events - corporate/private and public ticketed events
  • Prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents
  • Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects
  • Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):

  • Must be eligible for school credit and enrolled as a Graduate level student
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of 18 hours per week (20-30 hours preferred)
  • A minimum education level of a BA/BS Degree (4-year) in related field
  • 2 - 4 years of event related work experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with other departments
  • Proficient in account management database systems and ability to learn required business systems
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, with a positive attitude
  • Detail oriented and ability to work independently
  • Competency with hand tools is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and to be able to work with the public required
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must be able to work indoors and outside
