Summary
Provides accurate and timely processing of gifts, pledges, pledge reminders, payments, and gift receipts. Maintains donor records, batches and back-up material in a secure filing system ensuring privacy and donor confidentiality. Develops reports and queries to provide analysis of programs and campaign results, as well as for planning purposes. Ensures the donor database is used to its fullest capacity. Serves as liaison with Finance Department for credit card gifts, monthly reconciliation and payroll deductions. Ensures overall data integrity by establishing and enforcing standards for database and donor records, including data entry policies and procedures, tracking, and coding systems. Assists Development Manager with planning and implementing special events and campaigns. Curates and manages the social media and website content for Bethesda Health Group Foundation in collaboration with the Marketing team. Maintain inventory of collateral material, envelopes and letterhead. Work with mail house on all direct mail campaigns. Tracks, records and files all event and campaign expenses and invoices.
Job Qualifications
  • BA or BS in related field or equivalent mix of education and experience
  • One year of relevant experience
  • Analytic ability, including familiarity with statistical analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work accurately with detail
  • Computer experience and skills working with word processing and spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of functions and relationships of departments within a health care environment preferred
  • Manual dexterity, coordination and skillful use of hands for working with equipment
  • Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral communication, visual acuity and ability to read and understand written directions
  • Occasionally lifts and transport items weighing up to 10 pounds
