Job description

IT Programmer Principal Analyst

The City of Chandler Information Technology Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team. The position is onsite and scheduled to work 5 days, 8 hours. The position has a focus on Workday ERP System. Experience in this platform is a must.

Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

Who we are looking for

Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone who utilizes systems architectural and design principles to plan, modify and implement application solutions while utilizing a variety of modern web and desktop development technologies. This analyst will be assigned to WorkDay ERP. Please see the specifics on the job description.

Minimum qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; and
  • 5 years of recent experience with systems application analysis, highly complex technical documentation programming, including acting as a lead system implementer on a project team delivering an enterprise solution and
  • experience in web development (C#, ASP.Net, Angular, NodeJs preferred), BASH/Linux, XML, JSON, Database development; or
  • any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Desired qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Workday Integration Developer or similar technical role.
  • Hands-on expertise with: Workday Studio, EIB/DTS, Cloud Connect, Orchestrate.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics.
  • Experience building Workday Extend applications.
  • Familiarity with APIs and integration protocols (REST/SOAP).

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
